There is no EMC legislation (comparable with the European Union Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU) in India apart from requirements listed in the applicable Electrical Safety standards.

EMC requirements in general and for specific product categories are laid down in the related Indian Standards (IS), please find a list of applicable standards below.
For radio and telcommunication products the EMC requirements are mandatory and given by TEC’s MTCTE scheme.
